Bali Secrets doesn’t make antiperspirant, which means that its main role isn’t to block sweat, but to make it smell nice. What causes odor is sweat coming in contact with the bacteria that resides on the surface of your skin, so by making it smell nice, you can avoid foul odor.

Personal Experience

For the purpose of these reviews, I test the product on my forearm so you can see how clear it rolls on and how it dries invisible. I really like this particular product and the roll-on liquid dried in seconds.

Talking about deodorant can be so subjective, particularly because all of our bodies are different, and the way our skin reacts to certain ingredients also differs quite a lot. While sharing my own experience can help, you needn’t assume that it will be the same for you if you try it.

I tried the Original Essence scent, and what I really love about it is the combination between floral and fresh fragrances. It’s the type of deodorant that can go by unnoticed, in a sense that it doesn’t smell strong enough to blend in with the perfume you’re using. To me, that’s definitely a plus. I want my perfume to stand out, and not be mixed with other scents coming from my underarms.

I also tend to sweat a lot during the summer, which means that I find myself applying deodorant several times throughout the day, particularly if I’m out in town running a lot of errands. I’ve noticed that the Bali Secrets deodorant tends to last a bit longer compared to other products I’ve tried. I would even say it’s great for athletes who sweat more than most.

I usually apply it after showering in the morning, and it would last until late in the evening, when I’d shower again before going to bed, and then apply a new coat of deodorant.

As advertised, this deodorant can last up to three months on a single bottle. However, for me, it would probably only last about two. Yet again, I’m a heavy deodorant user, as I’d rather apply tons of it then feel like I haven’t applied any at all. That isn’t necessarily the right way to do it, it’s just what gives me peace of mind and makes me feel protected throughout the entire day. I wouldn’t necessarily call this a downside, because I have yet to find a deodorant that will keep me protected for 24 hours straight, particularly in the summertime.

While it does have natural ingredients, the Bali Secrets deodorant does have a teeny tiny amount of alcohol, which might cause a little sting if you apply it after shaving your armpits. However, it doesn’t cause irritations like other deodorants imbued with alcohol due, so that’s definitely a plus.

Another thing that I found super-important and would like to share with you is the fact that this deodorant doesn’t stain clothes. The transparent formula of the roll-on deodorant doesn’t leave any yellow spots or white stains on the clothes, which for me is awesome news because I’m a huge fan of wearing shirts in dark colors.
